Low Carb Tortilla Pizza

Tortilla is considered as a better food for people with diabetes because they have lower glycemic index and starch. Also, tortilla is considered as an anti aging food because they contain antioxidants. Tortilla is rich in vitamins and minerals such as vitamin B6, iron, calcium, magnesium, potassium and sodium. Tortilla is also associated with aiding brain health and reducing risk of cancer. Your daily intake may vary depending on calorie you need.

Ingredients and How To Prepare:

  • Slice 1 red onion
  • Cover baking pan with baking paper
  • Place 1 low-carb tortilla
  • Smear with tomato sauce
  • Sprinkle with 1/2 tsp of dried oregano and 1/2 tsp of dried basil
  • Place the onion
  • Cover with 3.5 oz(100g) of grated mozzarella
  • Bake until cheese is melted, 450F(225C) and serve
